The Cedar Hollow Public Library District just stood up an on-prem archive appliance (arch-nas01) to hold high-resolution scans of local-history collections. Overnight ingest jobs are crawling and the uplink keeps logging oversized-frame drops. You are the district network tech. On the archive distribution switch arch-dsw1 (mgmt 10.42.10.2), raise the system MTU so the storage VLAN (VLAN 240 · ARCHIVE) can carry jumbo frames end-to-end, then prove the change took effect and the uplink is clean.
